1. Data controller

The Go2German service (go2german.info) is published by Wajedweb SARL, a company incorporated under Moroccan law with its registered office in Fez, Morocco. Wajedweb SARL is the controller of the personal data described below.

For any question or request regarding your data: contact@go2german.info.

2. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed, never in clear text), German level, preferred language.
  • Contact and project data: phone number, country and city, education or employment situation, target occupation, and the answers you give in our forms (German level test, Ausbildung Score checklist, eligibility simulators).
  • Documents you send us: CVs and attachments sent as part of a support service, together with the information extracted from them (education, qualifications, experience).
  • Learning data: results of exercises and tests, certificates obtained, login history.
  • Correspondence: messages sent and received by email, WhatsApp or phone while following up on your project, and the follow-up notes written by our team.
  • Payment data: amount, date and purpose of the transaction. Card numbers are handled exclusively by our payment providers and are never stored by Go2German.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, through our audience measurement tools.

3. Data from Facebook and Instagram ads

We run ads on Facebook and Instagram (Meta Platforms, Inc.). When you fill in one of our instant forms (Lead Ads) on those platforms, or write to us from an ad, Meta passes on the information you voluntarily entered: usually your first and last name, email address, phone number, and your answers to the form questions (German level, intended occupation, availability, etc.).

This data is used solely to:

  • contact you back about the request you made, by email, phone or WhatsApp;
  • send you the information or document you asked for (test, checklist, guide, quote);
  • assess your Ausbildung project and offer you the right support.

The legal basis for this processing is the consent you give by submitting the ad form. We neither sell nor rent this data to third parties, and we do not use it for any purpose other than those described above. You may request its deletion at any time (see section 10).

Data collected by Meta while you browse its own platforms is governed by Meta’s privacy policy, over which we have no control.

4. Purposes of processing

  • Providing, personalising and running the learning service;
  • Tracking your progress and issuing your certificates;
  • Answering your requests and following up on your Ausbildung project;
  • Processing payments for assessments, support services and subscriptions;
  • Sending you information related to the service or to your project;
  • Improving the website from aggregated usage statistics;
  • Meeting our legal and accounting obligations.

5. Legal bases

  • Your consent: ad forms, website forms, sign-up to our communications, audience measurement cookies.
  • Performance of the contract: delivering the courses, assessments and support services you have purchased.
  • Our legitimate interest: security of the service, prevention of abuse, improvement of the website.
  • A legal obligation: retention of accounting records.

6. Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible to the Go2German team and to the following technical providers, who act only on our instructions:

  • Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram) — the ad forms through which your data reaches us
  • HubSpot — customer relationship management (request follow-up)
  • MongoDB Atlas — database hosting
  • Stripe and our payment providers — payment processing
  • Anthropic (Claude) and our other AI model providers — exercise correction, conversational assistant and CV reading. The content sent is used only to produce the expected answer.
  • Google Analytics — audience measurement
  • Microsoft Clarity — browsing behaviour analysis (heatmaps, anonymised session recordings)
  • S3-compatible object storage — files, documents and certificates
  • SMTP provider — sending transactional emails

We do not sell your personal data and do not share it with any third party for advertising purposes.

7. Transfers outside Morocco

Several of the providers listed above are established in the European Union or the United States: your data may therefore be hosted or processed outside Morocco. These transfers take place under the contractual safeguards offered by those providers (standard contractual clauses, security and confidentiality commitments).

8. Cookies and audience measurement

Go2German uses the following cookies:

  • Essential cookies: authentication session (access and refresh token), required for the website to work — they cannot be disabled without making login impossible.
  • Audience measurement cookies: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand how the website is used and improve it.

You can configure your browser to refuse or delete non-essential cookies.

9. Retention periods

  • Learner account: for as long as the account exists, then deleted or anonymised after it is closed.
  • Contact requests and data from ads: up to 3 years after our last exchange with you, unless you ask for deletion earlier.
  • Documents sent (CVs, attachments): until the end of the related support service, then deleted on request.
  • Accounting records linked to payments: kept for the period required by law.

10. Your rights and deletion of your data

You have the right to access, rectify, object to, restrict, port and delete your personal data.

To request deletion of your data, write to contact@go2german.info from the email address you gave us, or stating the phone number used, with the subject “Deletion of my data”. We then delete your record, your form answers, your documents and, where applicable, your account — including the copy held in our customer relationship management tool — within a maximum of 30 days, and confirm the deletion to you by email. Only data we are legally required to keep (accounting records) is retained.

If you subscribed to our communications, every email also contains an immediate unsubscribe link.

This processing is subject to Moroccan law no. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data. If you reside in the European Union, you also benefit from the rights provided by the GDPR. You may at any time lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in Morocco, the CNDP).

11. Security

Exchanges with the website are encrypted (HTTPS), passwords are hashed, and access to follow-up data is restricted to the team members who need it and protected by authentication. As no system is infallible, we undertake to inform you without delay of any security incident affecting your data.

12. Minors

The service is intended for adults or for minors who have the consent of their legal guardian. We do not knowingly collect data about children under 16 without that consent; if such a collection is reported to us, the data is deleted.

13. Changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service or in the applicable rules. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page; significant changes will be announced by email or on the website.
